McHugh Renewables is trading under McHugh Electric, a family business that was established in 1983 by Willie McHugh. Since then, three generations of McHugh’s have worked for the company. For the past four decades McHugh Electric has completed domestic, commercial and industrial jobs throughout Dublin and around the country.
Liam McHugh founded McHugh Renewables in 2021 after gaining years of experience providing renewable energy solutions for clients under the family business.
Over the last 40 years McHugh Electric has earned a solid reputation for their trustworthiness, excellent customer care and quality tradesmanship. Leading from example, McHugh Renewables incorporates these values into every aspect of their work.

McHugh Renewables install panels on your roof at the perfect angle and orientation to maximise the amount of solar energy collected
Energy Management
McHugh Renewables supply and install a system to transform your newly collected solar power in to energy that can be used to power your home
Energy Storage
McHugh Renewables supply and install an efficient battery system so that you can store any energy you do not require right away and take advantage of free solar energy 24 hours a day.
Hot Water Diverter
The hot water diverter intelligently redirects excess electricity generated by solar panels into an immersion heater, which heats water in a storage tank. When solar production exceeds household energy needs, the diverter activates, ensuring that this surplus energy is used efficiently.
Energy Export
If there is additional electricity after your battery is full and your water has reached max temperature. The electricity will be sold back to the grid automatically. Not only will solar power save you money on your bills, it can make you money!
